Life can get hectic, and we have all experienced some form of stress, anxiety, and depression. Seeking help takes courage and I am so happy you are taking the step to get help for yourself. Mental health and addiction have plagued all of us in one way or another. Often, we get so caught up in the demands of life we forget to take care of ourselves. Everyone’s needs are different and that is why I believe in a collaborative approach in therapy. I help my clients to develop tools designed specifically to cope with their own stressors. My goal is to help clients live a happier and more fulfilled life by teaching them tools to help them grow.

I am a Navy veteran and after being discharged I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology. I then went on to complete my master’s in professional counseling and a master’s in addiction counseling. I have worked in the mental health and addiction field for over 10 years and have experience in many settings.

I have worked in inpatient mental health and addiction treatment centers, inpatient psychiatric hospitals and facilitated the partial hospitalization program and outpatient program in both settings. I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and motivational therapy. I help my clients to better manage their thoughts, beliefs, and emotions that contribute to issues affecting their life’s goals and successes.

I also have experience working with all populations and worked with veterans and first responders who are experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder.

I look forward to working with you on your journey setting goals for continued growth and success.
